Pianist: Michie Koyama Conductor: Emmanuel Jaeger Introduction The first Japanese winner of Tchaikovsky and Chopin competitions, now a jury member of Tchaikovsky and Long-Thibaut competitions and other international competitions, Ms. Koyama is now arguably the most favored pianist in Japan. In 2006, a 12-year long “The World of Koyama” recital series started in Tokyo.
